Reference Laboratory :
LABORATORY SERVICES CENTER of RAMA INDUSTRIAL GROUP consists of laboratories located in cities Urmia (RAMA ELECTRIC LABORATORY) and Eshtehard (RAMA PARSIAN LABORATORY) was established in 2005, considering targets as below priorities :
1- Doing tests which are required to RAMA INDUSTRIAL GROUP.
2- Performing laboratory services for Iran Standard and Industrial Researches Organization and other costumers, considering the demands through Iran and in order to utilize the facilities optimally.
RAMA INDUSTRIAL GROUP consists of RAMA ELECTRIC Co. and RAMA PARSIAN Co. (former ATRO ELECTRIC Co.) companies located in Urmia and Eshtehard cities, produces various types of enameled and annealed aluminum and copper wires with round and rectangular sections and ballasts and transes for luminaries. Since RAMA INDUSTRIAL GROUP has special approach, in terms of quality and establishment of management system for doing activities and most of its products has got main national and international standards, therefore, the management decided to establish the laboratory services center according to requirements of ISO/IEC 17025.
In 2008, ATRO ELECTRIC Co., renamed to RAMA PARSIAN Co. and the requirements of ISO-IEC 17025 was established in the laboratory services center. At present, the laboratory services center is certified by NATIONAL ACCREDITATION CENTER of IRAN (NACI) based on ISO-IEC 17025.
The services which are performed by the laboratory services center, consists of: Doing Tests of Annealed wires and enameled round and rectangular wires for all existing diameters and general, safety and performance requirements for ballasts and also transformers for all existing powers of halogen lamps according to national (ISIRI) and international (IEC) standards or any other requested standard considering requirements of the laboratory services center and also offering special interpretations and expertize on test results and specifications of the samples.
Laboratory activities in Urmia and Eshtehard perform as bellow specifications and ranges:

Dimensional, mechanical, electrical, thermal and chemical tests for enameled round and rectangular copper wire and enameled round aluminum wire in various thermal classes according to related factory, national or international standards.

General and safety tests and also performance tests on inductive ballasts for different types of discharge lamps with low or high pressure gas lamps such as: compact, fluorescent, mercury vapor, sodium vapor and metal halide and also transformers for tungsten-halogen lamps according to related factory, national or international standards. Moreover, identifying the Label of Energy for inductive fluorescent ballasts.
